There are seven categories of membership within the Cordage Institute:

• Associate Member
• International Manufacturer Member
• Reseller Member
• Specialty Supplier Member
• Technical Member
• Government/Municipality Member

Regular Member
Any individual, partnership, corporation, subsidiary, division, or association engaged in the manufacture in the United States, Canada, or Mexico of Industry Products.

Associate Member
Any manufacturer or supplier of fiber or resin incorporated into finished Industry Products or any manufacturer of production or similar equipment used in the production of finished Industry Products or any manufacturer of finished Industry Products who does not qualify as a Regular Member.

Any manufacturer of Industry Products located outside Canada, Mexico or the United States.

Reseller Member
Any company serving as a distributor, wholesaler, fabricator, or broker of Industry Products.
